CHILDREN'S SCHOOLING

At the moment, "Ecoliers du Monde" sponsors children in Nepal and Cambodia, countries which have similar problems and where schooling fees are too high for many families.

Thanks to a local correspondent who keeps in close contact with the children and the headmasters/mistresses, we can follow them through their schooling and accompany them in their career choices.

It seems important to us that these choices privilege their professional future in their country. With this in mind, we help the children in all the procedures and eventual difficulties (inscription fees in higher education help with housing or daily life, getting identity papers).

- At the moment we school 45 children, 33 have a sponsor.
- They go to 16 different schools of which 6 are higher education
- 1 child is in infant school, 33 are in primary school, and 9 are in higher education
