HELP WITH PAYING THE SCHOOLING OF UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN

The main aim of the association is to allow underprivileged children to schooling in private or state schools according to each individual case and the geographical position of the parents.
We pay for the schooling of a certain number of children, mostly in primary school but also in secondary schools for those who wish to carry on studying, accompanying them until they start their professional lives in their countries.

The accent is put on following each child individually. The needs are different depending upon whether the children are in primary school or in higher education. The association does not limit itself to paying school fees but can also help in different aspects of everyday life: medical or psychological health costs, food, boarding fees, inscription fees, fees for obtaining identity papers, language courses, special training on a parallel with their main training course.

Accompanying each child can also lead to discussions and to advice during careers orientation, and generally throughout their studies to help them make the best choice, go to the best school. We talk with the children themselves but also with the headmasters and headmistresses of the schools and with the parents when they exist.

The charity also helps families in real financial difficulties for short periods of time

BUILDING, SETTING UP AND EQUIPPING SCHOOLS

"ECOLIERS du MONDE" also participates financially in village schools, often with little means, by buying educational material, classroom equipment (furniture, blackboards, educational material, and computer material). This can even lead to building, setting up or repairing classes.

HELP IN TEACHER TRAINING

In some countries, training for teaching is more than summary. Teachers demand is so strong to acquire teaching methods, methodology, and submersion in some subjects (eg language).
